Public Hearing – Special Industry Regulation for Airlines

On Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 3:00 PM Eastern the MTC will be conducting a public hearing via Zoom on a proposal to revise the MTC special industry rule for apportioning the income of airlines (MTC model Reg. Any member of the public or revenue agency may provide oral or written comments addressing the proposed revisions to the rule. We ask that those wishing to submit written comments for consideration as part of this hearing do so by Thursday, March 19, 2026. Written comments may be submitted to Johnathan White by e-mail at jwhite@mtc.gov. Please note that written comments will be posted on the MTC website and also will be included in the written report of the Hearing Officer submitted to the Executive Committee. Written comments will also be accepted through the date of the hearing and oral comments will be taken during the hearing.
