Reservations: The guestroom rate is $129.00 plus tax for single or double occupancy. To ensure you get the negotiated rate reservations should be made online using the following link, Rosen Centre Hotel, or by calling 1-800-204-7234 and mentioning that you are securing a reservation in the Multistate Tax Commission’s (MTC) room block. The reservation deadline for our group is October 5, 2018. Reservations after cut-off date will be accepted based on availability at the negotiated group rate.
The Rosen Centre hotel is completely sold-out on Sunday, November 3rd, however, arrangements have been made for our group to secure lodging on the 3rd at their sister property the Rosen Inn Pointe. If you need accommodations on Sunday night, please call 1-800-204-7234 and they will assist you in booking at both hotels.
Cancellations must be made 5 days prior to arrival. If you cancel less than 5 days, your credit/debit card will be charged a one night’s room and tax penalty. Additionally, an early departure fee, equal to one night’s room and tax, applies to guests checking out prior to their departure date as confirmed at check-in.
Please note: Individual departure dates will be reconfirmed upon check-in. Any adjustments to departure date should be made at that time. Shortened lengths of stay, thereafter, will result in a one-time $50.00 administrative fee.
Online Registration: Although there is no fee to attend these meetings, it is important and appreciated for you to register for planning purposes.
Statement Regarding Public Participation
Generally, meetings of the Commission and its Committees are public. Persons attending public sessions need not identify themselves. However, some of the listed meetings may not be entirely public. Under the Commission’s Public Participation Policy, closed meetings may be held in matters involving certain personnel issues and the acquisition/disposition of real estate, matters required by law to be confidential, including discussion of certain taxpayer information, and some discussions with counsel over pending litigation. For your convenience, you may choose to contact Helen Hecht at (202) 650-0300, for an indication of which of the listed meetings may not be entirely public. Your contact, which may be on an anonymous basis, also permits the Commission to provide adequate seating.
For more information concerning any meetings or events listed in this Calendar, please contact Bill Six, Director of Administration, at the Commission’s Washington, DC headquarters office (202) 650-0300. Please note that there are no registration fees associated with attendance at meetings of the Multistate Tax Commission or its committees; however, registration fees are charged for the Annual Meeting Seminar (and associated social events) and the Fall Business-Government Dialogue on State Tax Uniformity.
